Trip to Arches National Park with Eeyore
Eeyore spent about a week out here in Utah, we explored the most popular trails in Arches National Park and Antelope Island State Park.
Arches National Park Day 1
Our first day at Arches National Park was shorter than any of our others. Our day had started up in Salt Lake City where me and Eeyore road triped down to Moab.
With what daylight we had left, we explored some of the more popular road accessible views within Arches National Park.

Salt Valley Overlook
These photos were taken on the lip of a valley that was formed by the slow erosion of a salt dome that formed underneath the land that today makes up Arches National Park. The collapse of this salt dome is one of the major factors that led to the exposure of the soft sand stone, which eroded into the arches that gives this park its name.

Devils Garden
Devil’s Garden is one of the most breathtaking parts of the entire park. We took every spur trail along its entire length stopping at places such as Navajo and Private arch. We got to look back down onto the park through Partition Arch and take in the majesty of the Salt Dome Valley at feet of Dark Angel.

Delicate Arch night before
After completing the Devil’s Garden, we were once again short on light. We decided to spend what little sun we had left walking up to the delicate arch view point in anticipation for taking the full trail the next day.
